11Overview2233Human Records are collectible documents scattered throughout every region in Pokemon Pokopia. They are remnants of the human civilization that evacuated Kanto before the cataclysm, and include newspapers, personal diaries, magazine articles, photos, letters, and notes. Collecting them reveals the backstory of what happened to the human population.4455Beyond lore, Human Records are the primary way to unlock emotes (gestures the player can perform). Some records also unlock outfits and hairstyles for character customization. Human Records are separate from Ancient Artifacts (which include Lost Relics, Fossils, and Mystery Slates).667788Record Types991010TypeDescriptionExamplesNewspapersPublished news articles from Kanto townsRoad Closure Announcement, Vermilion Ranks No. 1, Celadon Department Store ReopensDiary EntriesPersonal journals from named charactersKenan's Diary, Professor's Diary series, Sailor Dylan's Diary, Hacker's ConfessionsMagazinesLifestyle and Pokemon magazine articles, plus multi-part journal seriesUnmasking the True Misty!, Gym Leader Monthly, Team R Grunt's Journal, Poke Life Dev DiaryPhotosPhotographs from before the evacuationPhoto #1 through Photo #18, found across all areas and Dream IslandsNotesInformal memos, journal fragments, and practical notesImproving Your Quality of Life, Someone's Journal series, Shopping ListLettersPersonal correspondence between Kanto's former residentsDear Elena, To Harry, Hi Dad!, I Wanna Go Swimming!PapersFormal documents, research reports, and official proposalsShellos Report, Project Cancellation Proposal, Daily Porygon2 Notes1111Complete Record List12121313The following tables list every Human Record in the game, organized by type.
