33 Chatting with Pokemon is a core interaction in Pokemon Pokopia. There are three primary ways to communicate with your Pokemon: approaching them and pressing A, responding when they approach you with a speech bubble, and witnessing unique conversations between related species. Most interactions with Pokemon increase their Comfort Level, regardless of the outcome.

2828 In some instances, you will find Pokemon interacting and conversing with each other. When this happens, the interaction prompt changes from the standard "Talk" to "What's this about?" instead. Selecting this option lets you observe the conversation between the two Pokemon.

3030 Unique conversations usually occur between Pokemon in the same evolutionary line or Pokemon that are known to have interactions in the wild. For example, a Pikachu and Raichu living in the same area might have a unique conversation about their shared history.
