Overview

"Help Me Make a Home" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia, given by Squirtle in the Withered Wasteland. Squirtle sees the habitat another Pokemon has and wishes for a home of its own. This request teaches players how to build their first habitat.

Prerequisites

• Access to the Withered Wasteland

• Learned the Leafage move (from completing Water Dry Grass)

• Access to Water Gun if building on dry tiles

Walkthrough

Step 1: Create a Tall Grass Habitat

Use the Leafage move to generate tall grass tiles on an open area of ground. You need to place enough grass tiles in a cluster to form a valid habitat. If the ground beneath is dry, water it first using Water Gun before placing the grass. The habitat must meet the requirements shown in the habitat recipe.

Step 2: Invite Squirtle

Once the Tall Grass Habitat is complete, Squirtle approaches automatically and asks permission to move in. Accept the offer, and Squirtle settles into the new habitat, completing the request.

Tips

• This is your introduction to the habitat system. Take note of how habitats work, since you will be building many more throughout the game.

• If the grass you place does not form a valid habitat, check that the tiles are connected and that the ground underneath is properly watered.

• Once Squirtle has a home, it will begin performing its assigned specialty tasks in the area.
