Scorbunny is the Galar starter in Pokopia. The entire line (Scorbunny, Raboot, Cinderace) has the Burn specialty. Cinderace additionally gains the Hype specialty, making it useful for both fire-related tasks and boosting morale among nearby Pokemon.
The Rookidee line evolves through Corvisquire into Corviknight (Flying/Steel). All three have the Chop specialty. Corviknight adds the Fly specialty, making it one of the few Gen 8 Pokemon that enables fast travel. Its Sewer-Hole Inspection habitat is shared with other utility Pokemon.
Cramorant (Water/Flying) has both Water and Fly specialties in a single Pokemon. It resides in the Hydrated Tall Grass habitat and is one of the more versatile Gen 8 options for island management, combining crop watering with fast-travel capability.
The Ghost/Dragon Dreepy line (Dreepy and Drakloak) both have Search and Gather specialties. They are found in Tree-Shaded Pink Tall Grass and Office Storeroom habitats. These Pokemon are valuable for finding hidden items and collecting resources.

Corviknight is the standout Gen 8 Pokemon thanks to its Chop and Fly combination. Prioritize building its habitat for both fast travel and wood harvesting.
Cramorant is an excellent early-to-mid game option if you need a single Pokemon covering both Water and Fly specialties.
Rolycoly and Carkol share the Railroad Crossing habitat. Both have Burn and Gather, with Carkol gaining Fire/Rock dual typing upon evolution.
Toxel (Electric/Poison) is the sole Gen 8 electricity producer. Its Lazy Photo-Album Scrolling habitat is one of the more unique habitat names in the game.
