Initial Environment Level guide
Environment Level is a per-area progression score (Level 1 through 5) that reflects how healthy and thriving each zone has become. It is calculated by combining the individual comfort scores of all Pokemon living in that area. As Environment Level rises, new shop items, recipes, building kits, rare Pokemon spawns, and game features unlock.
The fastest methods, in order of effectiveness:
Increase Pokemon comfort: Decorate habitats to match preferences, feed Pokemon their favorite flavors, and fulfill individual requests. This is the single most effective method.
Befriend new Pokemon: Build new habitats and attract more species to the area.
Move Pokemon into houses: A Pokemon with a proper home contributes more to the Environment Level than one without.
Complete requests: Both main Important Requests and side requests from Pokemon contribute.
Environmental cleanup: Watering dead grass, smashing debris, and general restoration work adds small amounts.
Level | Notable Unlocks |
|---|---|
Level 1 | Starting level in each area |
Level 2 | Multiplayer access; basic shop items |
Level 3 | Pokemon Center Rebuilding Kit available (1,000 Life Coins); PP Up available (300 coins) |
Level 4 | Advanced recipes; rare Pokemon spawn conditions |
Level 5 (all areas) | Required to reach the ending sequence; unlocks endgame content |
Life Coins are the primary currency earned from completing Challenges at rebuilt Pokemon Centers. These coins are spent at the PC Shop for building kits, recipes, special items, and Packing Tips (inventory expansions). New Challenges unlock as Environment Level increases.
