Overview

Dream Islands are special resource-gathering zones accessed through Drifloon, the only Pokemon with the Dream Island specialty. These floating islands contain exclusive materials, abandoned human structures with recipes, and Pokeballs with habitat clues. Stardust, a material used to craft Star Pieces for multiplayer Pokemon sharing, is only available on Dream Islands.

Unlocking Dream Islands

To access Dream Islands, you must first befriend Drifloon by building its habitat: "Riding Warm Updrafts," which requires three campfires placed in a line. Once Drifloon has moved in, present a Pokedoll to it to visit a specific island type.

Rules and Limits

• One island type per day: You can only visit one type of Dream Island per calendar day. Multiple visits to the same island are allowed, but materials do not respawn until the next day.

• Stardust exclusivity: Stardust is the only material found exclusively on Dream Islands. It is required for crafting Star Pieces used in multiplayer Pokemon exchanges.

• Legendary roaming: Entei can appear on Ditto and Arcanine Dream Islands. Suicune can appear on islands accessed via the Substitute Doll.

Tips

• Visit Dream Islands daily to stockpile rare materials, especially Iron Ore and Gold Ore from Volcanic Dream Islands.

• Check abandoned structures on islands for unique recipes and furniture items.

• Bring a Pokemon with the Search specialty to locate hidden items on Dream Islands more efficiently.

• Dream Island towers occasionally contain Castform Weather Charms for the weather system.
