Overview

Bleak Beach is the second story area in Pokemon Pokopia, located east of the Withered Wasteland. Based on Vermilion City from the Kanto region, this flooded and polluted beachfront zone is initially dark and gloomy. As the player completes story objectives and restores the area, it brightens considerably. The area features regular weather cycles and is home to the iconic SS Anne ship.

Unlocking

Bleak Beach unlocks after completing the "Yawn Up A Storm" quest in the Withered Wasteland. Both Bleak Beach and Rocky Ridges become accessible at the same time, and the player can explore them in either order.

Notable Locations

• SS Anne: The classic ship from Pokemon Red and Blue, now stranded at the beach. Contains the Sailor Outfit Human Record and several Lost Relics.

• Pokemon Center ruins: Can be rebuilt once Environment Level 3 is reached in this area. The Ranger Outfit Human Record is found nearby, referencing Safari Zone wardens.

• Lumineon Poster: A poster depicting Lumineon swimming underwater. Fans have identified this as a teaser for the upcoming Pokemon Winds and Waves generation.

Legendary Encounter

Raikou, the legendary Electric-type beast, appears in Bleak Beach after the player completes the area's main story questline.
