Armarouge evolved through the use of a set of armor that belonged to a distinguished warrior, and this Pokemon is incredibly loyal. It is one of two evolutions of Charcadet, the other being Ceruledge. Armarouge carries two specialties: Trade and Burn, making it both a merchant and a fire-starter for your island.

Its counterpart is Ceruledge (Dex #202), which evolves from Charcadet using a Malicious Armor instead. Ceruledge appears at the Malicious Knight's Shrine (#191) and shares the Trade and Burn specialties with Armarouge.
