Overview

"A Bed for a Buddy" is a request in Pokemon Pokopia, given by Bulbasaur in the Withered Wasteland. Bulbasaur wants a nice, soft place to sleep near its home. This request introduces the comfort mechanic and teaches players how to craft furniture for their Pokemon.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Gather Leaves

You need 2 Leaves to craft the Straw Bed. Bulbasaur provides 1 Leaf when you accept the request. Obtain the second Leaf by using the Cut move on grass patches in the surrounding area.

Step 2: Craft the Straw Bed

Go to any workbench and craft the Straw Bed using your 2 Leaves. The crafting completes immediately.

Step 3: Place the Straw Bed

Open your inventory, select the Straw Bed, and place it near Bulbasaur's habitat. Wait for Bulbasaur to walk over and rest on the bed. Interact with Bulbasaur while it is on the bed to finalize the request.

Rewards

• Straw Bed Recipe: Permanently unlocks the Straw Bed in your crafting menu, allowing you to craft additional beds for other Pokemon.

Tips

• Placing furniture near a Pokemon's habitat increases that Pokemon's comfort level. Higher comfort means the Pokemon works more efficiently on its specialty tasks.

• Completing this request also contributes to the Raise the Comfort Level request, so you can progress both at once.

• The Straw Bed Recipe is reusable. Craft beds for every Pokemon that has a habitat to keep comfort levels high across your settlement.
