44 Phantom Edges are secondary sub-weapons that complement Soul's primary blade weapons. Activated via R2, they layer ranged attacks, crowd control, or heavy single-hit damage onto the core combat system. Players can equip two Phantom Edges at a time and switch between them with Right D-Pad. The game features more than 20 unique Phantom Edges, ranging from cannons to lances, axes to hammers. Combined with 8+ primary weapon types, there are more than 30 weapons total.
