Outlaw Warblade is a two-handed main weapon in Phantom Blade Zero. It uses life-draining attacks and Recoverable HP to sustain Soul, while several of its healing effects do not work against Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies.
Stat | Starting value |
|---|---|
Damage | 240 |
Guard Break | 106 |
Defeat Jing Ye in Crimson Forest during Snake's Reflection to obtain Outlaw Warblade.
Skill | Input and effect |
|---|---|
Reaping Retreat | Follow a Triangle attack with Square to retreat with a slash that drains life and restores HP. Restoration increases while Recoverable HP remains. The life drain does not affect Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies. |
Bloodthirst Frenzy | L2 spends 1 Sha-Chi Essence for an unblockable series of slashes. A hit pins the target and drains blood to restore HP, except against Puppets, Golden Bodies and Phantom Bodies. |
Reckless Cleave | Hold L1 + Triangle to charge. Damage received during the charge becomes Recoverable HP; hitting with the strike restores 50% of the Recoverable HP accumulated during that charge. The effect does not apply to Puppets, Golden Bodies or Phantom Bodies. |
Unstoppable Lv. 1 | Increases Recoverable HP recovery from Square attacks. |
Survival Shield grants one Emergency Shield layer for 10 seconds when Recoverable HP reaches 30% of maximum HP. After the shield expires, another cannot be generated for 60 seconds.
Blood Arrow allows HP to become Recoverable HP while Emergency Shield is active. Fully recovering that HP creates blood arrows that attack nearby enemies and make struck enemies take more damage. Firing the arrows ends Emergency Shield.
Use Weapon Upgrade Materials at a blacksmith for normal upgrades; Reforging can return those materials. The separate Ruthless Outlaw Soul Tempering effect increases damage according to how long Recoverable HP is retained, up to 25%. Soul Tempering is irreversible.
The ordinary life-draining restrictions have an accessory-specific exception. Livingwood Talisman makes Bleed and Lifesteal 50% effective against Puppets, Phantoms and Golden Bodies. The base skill exclusions therefore do not establish immunity across every equipped loadout.
