Add one listed control layout and clarify custom bindings and Edge activation.
The table below records the listed Control Scheme 1 commands for Phantom Blade Zero. Check the active layout in Options before relying on a shortcut: selected presets and custom mappings can change the binding.

A general Phantom Edge shortcut is not a complete attack sequence. The equipment instructions distinguish selecting an Edge with D-pad Right from activating its named ability with R2 on a PlayStation controller. Depending on the weapon, the ability can require a press, repeated presses, or holding and releasing R2.
Resource costs also belong to the named move. For example, Sanguine's L2 Sweeping Blade consumes 1 Sha-Chi Essence. That is separate from Phantom Edge abilities that consume Remnant Sparks; a button label alone does not establish one universal cost.
Holding Guard differs from pressing at the moment a hit lands. Blue-flash attacks call for a timed parry, while red-flash attacks call for a perfect dodge. Use the active layout for those responses rather than copying a button from a different preset.
Assassination commands require an unaware target, and the follow-up input appears when another valid target is close enough. Lock-on is useful for keeping a target in view; with several enemies present, the right stick can move the selected target on a controller.
Open Options and select a custom control preset to remap inputs. The listed layout is a reference rather than a claim that every preset, platform or accessibility choice uses these same bindings.
