Blackstone Fragments
October 30, 2026 at 01:36 AM
Add collectible purpose, documented pickups and character-skill costs.
Blackstone Fragments form complete Blackstones in Phantom Blade Zero. Whole Blackstones permanently improve attack power and Guard Break, and they are also listed as resources for certain character skills. Fragments are commoner than intact Blackstones.
Area | Acquisition |
|---|---|
Outpost cell | Obtain the Cell Key from the elevated part of the Outpost, then unlock the Cell Door to reach the fragment. |
Route toward Ruthless Archer Camp Bell | Defeat the enemies in the lower fight area. The location guide records the fragment on the last enemy defeated; the collectible listing identifies a dual-wielding enemy in that area. |
These two documented pickups are a starting route, not a complete regional or world count. The Cell Key is an access item for the first pickup; it is not a material used to assemble Blackstones.
Skill | Recorded cost | Effect |
|---|---|---|
Masterful Flow Lv. 1 | 1 Blackstone | Reduces weapon-swap cooldown by 2 seconds. |
Redirect Force | 2 Blackstones | Parrying or dodging an enemy attack restores Sha-Chi. |
Masterful Flow Lv. 2 | 4 Blackstones | Reduces weapon-swap cooldown by 2 seconds. |
Other entries in the Blackstone branch of Skills list no resource cost: Fluid Form Lv. 1, Boundless Capacity and Endless Renewal Lv. 1. Check the individual entry rather than assuming every skill in the branch consumes Blackstones.
Blackstone growth improves Guard Break, but it is separate from the choice of weapon used against a shield. Guard Breaking and Shields explains destructive weapon options and accessory support.
