Overview

The Season of Snowfall is a seasonal story and activity feature announced for the Final Beta Test of Petit Planet. It adds seasonal stories, tasks and new Neighbors to meet. The September 21, 2026 overview announced it as coming soon during the test.

Unlocking the Season

Complete the prerequisite quest Melody of the Conch to unlock the season and experience its story. Depending on Main Story progress, this can happen as early as Day 6 of the Final Beta. Day 6 is the earliest stated unlock, rather than an automatic grant to every account.

Rewards

Once the season is unlocked, activity tasks award in-game items and cosmetics. Daily tasks also award Lucasprouts. The announcement does not give a full reward list, task amounts, or the identities of its seasonal Neighbors.

Winter Weather

Winter weather has a separate progression condition: reaching Level 9 on the Luca Arbour unlocks a wider range of weather conditions. The day after heavy snowfall, exploring the planet or shaking trees may reveal natural treasures and other finds unique to snowy days. Level 9 and Melody of the Conch therefore describe different unlock conditions.

The September 29 fixes addressed snowball interactions, including abnormalities when multiple players played together. These were fixes under particular circumstances and do not change the announced story prerequisite. No season end date or final-release schedule was given in the September 21 overview.
