11 Chez Maurice is a sitting restaurant in Melino, the launch town of Paralives, specializing in breakfast and lunch. 33 The restaurant is a rundown diner with exposed brick and no waterfront-facing windows. Vintage posters decorate the interior to hide cracks in the walls, and a large blue container sits at the rear. The building has three floors, but only the first floor is currently operational; the upper levels are not yet in use. Its gritty, utilitarian look fits the surrounding factory district, and it is framed as a convenient place for a Parafolk to grab a quick meal before or after a working day. Some sources place Chez Maurice in the Industrial district near the factory.

1010 The interior is fully accessible, including the kitchen, so a Parafolk can also use the kitchen appliances to cook their own food on-site rather than buying a prepared dish, the same option offered at the other accessible restaurants. A small bathroom is available for customers. Eating a meal here alongside another Parafolk fills the Together Bar and feeds the Relationships and Social System, so even a quick lunch stop doubles as social time. The full table-service experience, with seated ordering and a waiter, is on the post-launch Roadmap and Planned Features; at launch the venue sells food at the counter.

1414 Chez Maurice is one of the restaurants in the launch town that sell food at the front counter as of the Day-0 patch released alongside the Early Access launch. A Parafolk can walk in, queue at the counter, buy a meal, and eat it on-site or take it home, while full seated table service remains a post-launch addition. This puts the diner on the same counter-sales footing as the town's other restaurants at launch.
