Tide (Watercraft)
August 26, 2026 at 02:39 PM
Initial version (2026-08-26)
Tide is the first watercraft in the game, added in Version 1.3, "Rising from the Moonlit Fog", on August 19, 2026. It is a jetski built by the Hikari's brand, carries the model code REG-BV4, and supports module customization. Unlike every vehicle before it, the Tide does not drive on roads: it can only be summoned in ocean and lake areas.
Hikari's signature creation. Its distinctive design and powerful performance put you in command of the tides and waves.
This page covers the vehicle. It is unrelated to Tide Gravity, which is a furniture piece, and unrelated to Hotori’s "World’s Tide" ability.

The Tide is only distributed through the "Lucent Tides" mystery box event, which runs from August 19 at 17:00 to September 30 at 05:59 (UTC+8). Boxes are opened with either Fons or Annulith, and the cost rises with every box opened. There are fifteen boxes in total, and opening all fifteen unlocks every reward in the pool.
Because the price escalates and the pool order has not been published, clearing all fifteen boxes is the only guaranteed route to the Tide. A partial run is a gamble on where in the pool the watercraft sits. No per-box price has been published, and duplicate protection is unconfirmed.

The published contents list is open-ended, so the pool above is not necessarily complete.
The Tide is restricted to ocean and lake water and cannot be summoned on land. In practice that means the coastline, the waters off the Starfall Bay Resort, and Tearlake, the lake inside Duskmoor. Version 1.3 also enabled Photo Mode while driving or swimming, which applies to the Tide as well.
Two Version 1.3 events are played on the water and are the main reason to own the Tide.
Activity | Window (UTC+8) | What it involves |
|---|---|---|
Surf Breaker | August 19 to September 30, 05:59 | Watercraft racing across five courses, each with three difficulties. Clear checkpoints before the timer expires. Friendly races with friends are supported. |
Shipwreck Salvage | August 28, 10:00 to September 30, 05:59 | Harpoon floating cargo and haul it ashore before fuel runs out. Pays the "Drifting Bottle" event currency, spent at the event shop. |
Neither event lists the Tide as a reward, and no source states that the Tide is strictly required to enter Surf Breaker. Treat ownership as strongly expected rather than confirmed as mandatory. Whether jetski upgrades earned in Shipwreck Salvage carry over into Surf Breaker is also unconfirmed.
