The Popular Kid is Nanally's launch-window alternate outfit in Neverness to Everness. The skin is permanently available in the in-game cosmetic shop at a launch-discount price of 1,680 Riftcrystals, reduced from the regular price of 2,480 Riftcrystals.
The outfit was revealed during the Launch Preview Special Program on April 18, 2026 and went on sale at server open on April 29, 2026, alongside Nanally's launch banner The Ichi-Daime. Equipping The Popular Kid changes Nanally's visible skill effects in addition to the outfit's appearance. The kit and stat sheet are unchanged; the outfit is purely cosmetic, with the visual effect change being a flair touch rather than a gameplay alteration.

The Popular Kid requires three things to be useful on a roster:
Nanally unlocked. The outfit cannot be equipped on any other character. Nanally is obtainable through the launch banner The Ichi-daime (April 29 to May 13, 2026) and on subsequent reruns.
Sufficient Riftcrystal balance for direct purchase, OR 200 pulls accumulated on The Ichi-daime banner. Either path independently grants the outfit.
Cosmetic shop access. The cosmetic shop unlocks after completing the prologue.
There are two routes to acquire The Popular Kid:
Direct purchase: Spend 1,680 Riftcrystals during the launch discount window or 2,480 Riftcrystals at standard price. The outfit becomes a permanent inventory entry once purchased and persists across all banners and patches.
Pull milestone: Reach 200 pulls on The Ichi-Daime before its May 13, 2026 close. The 200-pull milestone awards The Popular Kid for free, completing the alternative path. Cosmetic-pity drops from board tiles can also award the outfit before the 200-pull threshold at a base rate of about 0.33% per applicable tile. The drop chance is a small bonus rather than a reliable acquisition path.

The Popular Kid ships as a single visual variant at launch. The outfit pairs a black-and-pink schoolgirl uniform aesthetic with subtle gang-affiliation accents tied to the Coluccis Family identity. The most distinctive change versus Nanally's default look is in the equipped weapon and skill animations:
Skill VFX changes: Nanally's claw combo trails recolour to match the outfit's pink accent palette.
Underboss ultimate animation: The summoning sequence keeps the same kit behaviour but uses a redrawn animation that fits the school-uniform theme.
Idle pose: The outfit ships with a unique idle pose that swaps over the default standing animation when equipped.
There is no current dye-palette swap or alternate-colour version. Players are limited to the default Nanally appearance versus the The Popular Kid appearance.
Cosmetic outfits in Neverness to Everness use Riftcrystal, the top-tier real-money premium currency, rather than Annulith. Riftcrystal converts to Annulith at a 1:1 ratio for gacha pulls, but spending Riftcrystal directly on outfits is the only acquisition path other than the limited-banner cosmetic milestone. Free-to-play players cannot earn enough Riftcrystal through gameplay to buy outfits at the standard price; the launch discount window narrows the gap but does not eliminate it.
Purchase during the launch discount window if you plan to use the outfit. The 1,680 Riftcrystal price is roughly a third cheaper than the standard 2,480 figure and only repeats on rerun cycles, not as a permanent reduction.
Players targeting the cosmetic milestone for a free unlock should commit to The Ichi-daime banner. The 200-pull milestone counter is per-banner and does not carry to subsequent banners (Misty Tipsy Style and beyond). Players who fall short of 200 pulls do not retain partial progress on the next banner; reach the cosmetic threshold before swapping pull focus.
Equip the outfit during The Ichi-daime's banner window for the matching glider and vehicle skins from the 50-pull and 120-pull milestones to complete the launch cosmetic set. Equip them together for a unified Coluccis Family aesthetic across traversal and combat.
The matching glider and vehicle skins from The Ichi-daime's 50-pull and 120-pull milestones complete the launch cosmetic set. Equip them together for a unified Coluccis Family aesthetic across traversal and combat.
Reach the 200-pull cosmetic milestone before splitting pulls. Players who hit 200 pulls on The Ichi-daime first secure the outfit free, then carry pity to the next limited banner Misty Tipsy Style without having spent Riftcrystals on the outfit.
Treat the outfit as cosmetic-only. The change to skill VFX is decorative; kit numbers, cooldowns, and ultimate behaviour are unchanged.
The two launch outfits use the same price tier but follow different acquisition models. The table below summarises the structural differences:
