Raging Flames

Added field-trigger walkthrough that ignites motorcycles when the Arc is equipped on a Lakshana carrier
Raging Flames shares the top base ATK tier with Camellia Society at 666, and pairs it with a raw CRIT DMG substat for pure offensive output. Its Headless Rider passive is designed around Skill-heavy rotations: every Ultimate opens a 10-second Redirect Skill window and each Skill cast inside that window stacks further damage up to twice.
Raging Flames is a 5★ S-Class Plasma-type Arc in Neverness to Everness. It rolls a base 666 ATK at Level 80 with a 24% CRIT DMG substat. The primary skill, Headless Rider, defines its role across rotations and team compositions.
"Come on, let's go! Step onto this racetrack where we pledge our souls!"
The flavor text sets the Arc's tone and gives designers a quick lens on how the Headless Rider passive is meant to feel in play.
The Headless Rider passive provides the following effect at Refinement Rank 1: Increases the wearer's Redirect Skill DMG by 22.5% for 10s after casting Ultimate. Further increases Redirect Skill DMG by 15% per cast while active, up to 2 stacks.
Refinement ranks raise these values without changing the trigger conditions. The table below lists the per-rank scaling.
Level | Base Skill DMG (10s after Ultimate) | Per-Cast Stack |
|---|---|---|
L1 | +22.5% | +15% per cast |
L2 | +26.3% | +17.5% |
L3 | +30% | +20% |
L4 | +33.8% | +22.5% |
L5 | +37.5% | +25% |
Reaching Level 80 with full access to the Headless Rider passive requires six ascension breakthroughs. Each phase raises the level cap and unlocks the next refinement condition. The costs are fixed per Arc and do not scale with refinement rank.
Phase | Level Cap | Gold | Materials |
|---|---|---|---|
Phase 1 | Lv.30 | 20,000 | |
Phase 2 | Lv.40 | 40,000 | |
Phase 3 | Lv.50 | 60,000 | |
Phase 4 | Lv.60 | 80,000 | |
Phase 5 | Lv.70 | 100,000 | |
Phase 6 | Lv.80 | 120,000 | Liquid Dream Can x12, Transcendent Delusions x12 |
The listed compatible characters share the Arc's core synergy. Any character can equip any Arc regardless of element or skill fit, but these characters gain the full value of the Headless Rider passive thanks to their kits and scaling.
Character | Element | Rarity | Why It Fits |
|---|---|---|---|
5★ | S-Class Lakshana courier whose Blade Wings and motorcycle transforms chain Skill and Ultimate windows; a natural fit for the Headless Rider payoff. | ||
5★ | S-Class Anima main DPS whose follow-up attack scaling keeps stacks and buff timers fresh; a natural fit for the Headless Rider payoff. |
Raging Flames is acquired through the standard Arc acquisition methods in Neverness to Everness. S-Class Arcs can appear in the gacha system and its pity guarantees, in specific shop rotations, and in limited event reward tracks.
Method | Details |
|---|---|
Miracle Box 5★ tiles | S-Class Arcs appear as guaranteed 5★ tile payouts on the Arc gacha board. |
Arc banner pity | Soft pity at 60 pulls, hard pity at 80 pulls. The featured S-Class Arc has a 25% chance at soft pity. |
Long-term currency shops | Select S-Class Arcs rotate through the Tri-Keys shop and limited event storefronts. |
Confirm your chosen character's rotation lines up with the Headless Rider trigger before investing refinement materials. An Arc whose condition you cannot reliably fire is worth less than a B-Class Arc you activate every rotation.
At Refinement Rank 1 the values in the passive table are baseline. Early ranks give the biggest jumps; the last couple of ranks are smaller gains and usually not worth duplicating a 5★ Arc unless the character is a dedicated main DPS.
Pair Raging Flames with Plasma-aligned Drive Blocks and KongMu Gear. Matching element on support gear stacks multiplicatively with the Arc's passive.
Keep the ascension materials in mind when planning farming routes. The final two phases jump from a 6x to a 12x requirement, which is often the real blocker for hitting Level 80.
Review the Compatible Characters table before equipping. Element mismatch still works, but the biggest multipliers assume the passive's trigger and your character's rotation are synchronized.
When Raging Flames is equipped to a compatible Lakshana carrier, calling that character's bike spawns it with a constant flame trail effect on the wheels and exhaust. The flame trail is purely visual; it does not change the bike's stats. To turn the effect on, the following three conditions must all be met at once.
A Lakshana carrier is on the active team. Hathor and Nanally are the two confirmed bike-fire carriers, and any future Lakshana carrier with a similar weapon slot is expected to work the same way.
That carrier currently has Raging Flames equipped as their Arc.
The carrier is the active on-field character when the bike is summoned. Spawning the bike from another team member does not produce flames even when Raging Flames is on the bench.
If you do not own Hathor, the same flame effect can be coaxed onto Nanally or another Lakshana character by transferring Raging Flames to them and summoning a motorcycle while they hold the field. The interaction is not optimal because Raging Flames is tuned for Hathor's Skill rotation, but it does enable the visual on whichever bike that character calls.
Scooters do not ignite. Mopeds and short-bed two-wheelers in the lowest tier are excluded from the effect, which is why the obvious flame target is the larger Blizzard-V4 or Novis ST-X 950 bike rather than the Rover A1.
Players who do not roll Raging Flames from the Arc gacha can still earn a copy through the Headless Biker anomaly encounter. The biker is a roaming open-world boss that only spawns at night and only when the player approaches the trigger location in a car. Riding a motorcycle to the same spot does not trigger the cutscene, because the encounter cinematic features the player driving up in a car.
Set the in-game clock to roughly 10:00 PM, drive a four-wheeled vehicle to the marked area, and chase the biker when the cutscene plays. The fight is short. Other Bureau agents will join in if the encounter runs long. After the biker is defeated, the player receives a copy of the Raging Flames Arc as the encounter reward. From there the procedure above applies: equip the Arc on a Lakshana character, take that character on field, and call the bike.
