Comprehensive rewrite covering heist mechanics, equalized stats, launch improvements, and multiplayer support
Pink Paws Heist is a team-based large-scale dungeon in Neverness to Everness built around an infiltration and extraction gameplay loop. Players infiltrate a location, steal valuable resources, and must extract safely while navigating around patrolling anomalies that guard the area. It stands apart from other cooperative content through its stealth-oriented design and stat equalization mechanics.
The heist follows a three-phase structure: infiltration, resource collection, and extraction. During infiltration, players must navigate past patrolling anomalies without triggering alarms. The resource collection phase involves locating and securing valuable items throughout the dungeon. Extraction requires the team to reach a designated exit point while avoiding or dealing with any anomalies that have been alerted.
A key feature of Pink Paws Heist is its stat equalization system. All characters are set to fixed stats regardless of the player's actual progression level or equipment. This means a new player and a maxed-out veteran operate at the same power level inside the heist, making success dependent on skill and coordination rather than gear advantage. This design makes the heist accessible to players at any stage of their progression.
Based on feedback from beta testing (including the Co-Ex Test), several improvements have been made to Pink Paws Heist for the full launch:
Adjusted enemy and item spawn logic to create more varied and fair encounters across runs.
Improved rewards to make the heist more worthwhile as a repeatable activity.
Shorter completion time to reduce the time commitment required for a single run.
More level variety at launch, with additional layouts and encounter configurations.
Pink Paws Heist supports multiplayer cooperative play at launch. Teams can coordinate their approach to the heist, with different players handling different roles during infiltration and extraction. The equalized stats ensure that group composition is based on character abilities and team strategy rather than individual power levels.
