Overview

New Herland District is one of four known districts in Hethereau, the open-world city of Neverness to Everness. It was introduced during the Containment Test (CBT2) in July 2025, alongside the Miguel District. The addition of these two new districts expanded Hethereau's explorable area to approximately 1.5 times its original size.

Containment Test Introduction

New Herland District was one of two major map expansions included in the Containment Test, the second closed beta test held in July 2025. Its addition, combined with Miguel District, gave players significantly more urban space to explore and reflected the developers' commitment to expanding the city over the game's testing phases.

Location

New Herland District is seamlessly connected to the rest of Hethereau's road network and urban fabric. It shares the same dynamic weather system, day-night cycle, and NPC behavior systems as every other district in the city. Players can travel to and from New Herland District freely without encountering loading screens.
