A-Class Arcs

Cleaned article wording and removed research-process phrasing
A-Class Arcs are the mid-tier weapons in Neverness to Everness. Sixteen A-Class Arcs are confirmed at the April 29, 2026 global launch, including one event reward Arc (The Forgotten) handed out for free through the Hethereau Residents Guide pre-launch campaign. A-Class Arcs drop much more often than S-Class pulls, which makes them the default workhorses for most free-to-play accounts during the first few weeks after launch.
A-Class Arcs are not a downgrade in every scenario. Several of them, most notably Mind Royale (555 base ATK with a 60 Break Intensity roll), compete directly with S-Class options for specific roles. Refinement further narrows the gap: a fully refined A-Class Arc can out-perform an unrefined S-Class whose passive is mismatched to the wearer. All stats below use Level 80 maximum values.
Base ATK and secondary stat values reflect Level 80 maximum. The Arcs Database tracks the full 42-Arc pool across all three rarities: S-Class, A-Class, and B-Class.

| 395 | DEF | 52.5% | ||

Several A-Class Arcs deserve priority attention because they cover specific roles better than their S-Class siblings relative to cost, or because they are handed out for free.
Mind Royale: 555 base ATK with 60 Break Intensity. Highest base ATK A-Rank; premier budget choice for stagger-oriented Casters.
Watch Your Heads!: 475 base ATK with 40% CRIT DMG. Lakshana DMG bonus after Skill use, especially strong vs Remora and Stain reactions.
The Forgotten: 475 base ATK with 25% HP. Hethereau Residents Guide pre-launch event reward, free for all participants.
Failing You, Heavy in My Heart: 475 base ATK with 120 Break Intensity. Spider Knowledge stacking team ATK buff on Basic Attacks, consumed by Ultimate.
Clear Skies: 475 base ATK with 25% ATK. Unconditional Anima DMG multiplier for Skill and Ultimate abilities.
Umbrella: 395 base ATK with 52.5% DEF. HP percentage increase plus shield strengthening above 50% HP.
Drawn Blade: 395 base ATK with 37.5% ATK. Follow-up Incantation DMG on the Basic Attack after a successful Parry.
Refinement on an A-Class Arc raises the numerical strength of the named passive at each rank from R1 (base) to R5 (max). Because A-Class Arcs drop more frequently than S-Class options, refining an A-Class to R3 or R5 is realistic for most accounts in the first few weeks. The full per-rank scaling for every confirmed A-Class passive that does not already appear in the Flagship section above is listed below.
Grants the wearer Ultimate Energy when casting a Redirect Skill. Triggers up to once every 20 seconds.
Level | Ultimate Energy on Redirect Skill |
|---|---|
R1 | 10 |
R2 | 12 |
R3 | 14 |
R4 | 16 |
R5 | 18 |
Best for rotation-dependent supports and DPS characters who rely on faster Ultimate uptime. The 20-second cooldown means Mind Royale grants one charge per Ultimate window in practice, which is enough to cut several seconds off a typical Ultimate cycle on characters with frequent Redirect Skill casts.
Increases the wearer's Break Intensity. Increases damage dealt to Broken units. Always active.
Level | Break Intensity | DMG to Broken Units |
|---|---|---|
R1 | +48 | +10% |
R2 | +57 | +12% |
R3 | +66 | +14% |
R4 | +75 | +16% |
R5 | +84 | +18% |
Best for Break-focused teams. Both effects are always active, so Shiny Days contributes during Break setup and during the Broken damage window without any rotation requirement. Pairs well with characters whose Basic Attack chains or Skill rotations apply rapid Break.
Grants the wearer ATK, DEF, and HP when the team has at least 3 different Esper Types.
Level | ATK / DEF / HP (each) |
|---|---|
R1 | +10% |
R2 | +12% |
R3 | +14% |
R4 | +16% |
R5 | +18% |
Best in diverse team compositions that already run three or more Esper Types for reaction coverage. The simultaneous ATK / DEF / HP boost benefits every role at once, which makes it a versatile filler weapon for any character on a multi-element team.
Increases the wearer's Basic Attack DMG for 10 seconds after each Basic Attack, up to 10 stacks. Each stack lasts independently.
Level | Per-Stack DMG | Max DMG (10 stacks) |
|---|---|---|
R1 | +2% | +20% |
R2 | +2.4% | +24% |
R3 | +2.8% | +28% |
R4 | +3.2% | +32% |
R5 | +3.6% | +36% |
Best for fast multi-hit Basic Attack carries who can build to 10 stacks within the first few seconds of a fight. Each stack has its own 10-second timer, so as long as the wearer keeps attacking, full stacks stay live. Drops off the moment the wearer stops Basic Attacking, so it is weak on Skill-heavy or rotation-driven characters.
Increases the wearer's ATK while their HP is above 50%. Increases the wearer's DEF while their HP is below 50%.
Level | ATK (HP > 50%) | DEF (HP < 50%) |
|---|---|---|
R1 | +20% | +20% |
R2 | +24% | +24% |
R3 | +28% | +28% |
R4 | +32% | +32% |
R5 | +36% | +36% |
The free A-Class Arc handed out for completing the Hethereau Residents Guide pre-launch event. Always provides one of the two stat lines depending on HP state, so it never becomes a dead weapon. Strong as a stopgap on any character before the player has built up a more specialized A-Class or S-Class option.
Increases the wearer's DEF for 10 seconds when taking damage. Triggers at most once every 20 seconds.
Level | DEF Increase |
|---|---|
R1 | +26% |
R2 | +31% |
R3 | +36% |
R4 | +41% |
R5 | +46% |
Best on tanks and front-line characters who expect to absorb hits regularly. The 10-second buff window covers half of the 20-second cooldown, keeping the DEF boost up most of the time during sustained fights.
Increases Break Intensity for 10 seconds after the wearer casts a Redirect Skill. Effect does not stack. Also unlocks the utility ability "Arc: Picky" which summons Picky to unlock all nearby lockable objects.
Level | Break Intensity |
|---|---|
R1 | +90 |
R2 | +108 |
R3 | +126 |
R4 | +144 |
R5 | +162 |
Combines a strong Break Intensity buff with a quality-of-life utility for exploration. The Break Intensity values match or exceed several S-Class options when fully refined, making Time Bandit a viable budget pick for stagger-oriented teams. The Picky utility ability is a quality-of-life perk for opening world chests during exploration.
Increases the wearer's damage dealt for 10 seconds after casting a Support Skill. Triggers at most once every 20 seconds.
Level | Damage Increase (10s) |
|---|---|
R1 | +18% |
R2 | +21% |
R3 | +24% |
R4 | +27% |
R5 | +30% |
Best on Support-Skill characters who chain a Support Skill into the burst window. The 10-second buff applies to all damage types, not just Support Skill damage, so the wearer's Basic Attacks and Ultimate during the window all benefit.
Increases Break Intensity for all teammates of the same Esper Type as the wearer (including the wearer) when the team has 3 or more such characters. Does not stack.
Level | Team Break Intensity |
|---|---|
R1 | +70 |
R2 | +84 |
R3 | +98 |
R4 | +112 |
R5 | +126 |
Best on mono-Esper or near-mono-Esper teams that stack three or more characters of the same element. The buff applies to every same-element teammate, so on a true mono-element comp it effectively triples the value compared with a single-character buff.
Increases the wearer's ATK while the wearer has a Shield.
Level | ATK While Shielded |
|---|---|
R1 | +18% |
R2 | +21% |
R3 | +24% |
R4 | +27% |
R5 | +30% |
Best on shielders and on DPS characters paired with a shield-providing teammate. Combines defensive utility (the shield itself) with an offensive boost, which is rare among A-Class options.
Increases the wearer's Healing Bonus for 10 seconds after casting a Redirect Skill. Effect does not stack.
Level | Healing Bonus (10s) |
|---|---|
R1 | +12% |
R2 | +14% |
R3 | +16% |
R4 | +18% |
R5 | +20% |
Best on dedicated healers who lead their rotation with a Redirect Skill. The Healing Bonus buff applies to all healing the wearer outputs during the 10-second window, which lines up cleanly with most heal-skill cooldowns.
A-Class Arcs come from multiple sources, not just the gacha banner:
Scarborough Fair Gacha: every 10-pull guarantees at least one A-Class or higher Arc, so even unlucky pity runs feed the A-Class pool.
Event Rewards: The Forgotten is free from the Hethereau Residents Guide pre-launch event. Post-launch events routinely hand out A-Class selector tickets.
Story Milestones: the main story quest line awards at least one A-Class Arc during early chapters.
Shop Exchange: a subset of A-Class Arcs can be purchased directly with currencies earned from commissions and weekly activities.
For a free-to-play or low-spend roster, refining the right A-Class Arc usually beats chasing a second limited S-Class banner. Three patterns come up repeatedly in team-building guides:
Stagger comps: Mind Royale at refinement is the best launch budget option for Break Intensity Casters.
Lakshana reaction teams: Watch Your Heads! scales on Remora and Stain reactions and competes with mid-tier S-Class options.
Parry specialists: Drawn Blade converts successful parry reads into bonus Incantation damage and is the only A-Class built around defensive skill expression.
Anima Skill and Ult DPS: Clear Skies provides an unconditional Anima damage multiplier without requiring setup.
Defensive tanks: Umbrella is the go-to A-Class for shielders and HP-scaling builds.
Support buffers: Failing You, Heavy in My Heart stacks team ATK via the Spider Knowledge mechanic and fills the budget support slot behind Good Boy's Grand Adventure.
Refine aggressively. A-Class Arcs show up in far higher quantities than S-Class, so reaching R3 or R5 on a matched A-Class is realistic within the first few weeks.
Do not benchmark A-Class Arcs against Rank 1 S-Class stats alone. Compare refined stat lines and trigger conditions to see which one actually lands more damage in your rotations.
Claim The Forgotten before launch by finishing the Hethereau Residents Guide event. It is effectively a free pity cycle of pulls.
Match secondary stats to roles. CRIT and ATK rolls go on DPS Casters; HP and DEF go on tanks; Break Intensity goes on stagger specialists; Charge Efficiency goes on rotation-dependent supports.
Use A-Class Arcs on bench Casters. Filling out a second team with refined A-Class Arcs unlocks side modes and co-op activities faster than trying to build every character around S-Class weapons.
