999 Nights Mysterious Barriers

A Mysterious Barrier opens after all three associated braziers are lit. These gates use local braziers rather than the Challenge Mode condition of crystal walls. Search the area around the barrier and return after the third flame is lit.

Chocolate Volcano: Starfall Crater

For the first barrier, start at the nearby bonfire and head southwest toward Porter Fuzzy. The first brazier is beside the barrier. The second is on its right; turn around in the same chamber to find the third. Open the Rare Chest behind the gate.

For the second barrier, return to the Starfall Crater bonfire and drop off the wooden bridge. Continue straight, turn left and descend toward the magma falls. The first brazier is to the right of the falls. Turn around: the second is on the right and the third farther ahead in the same area. Clear the enemies behind the opened barrier and collect the chest.

Milk Ice Mountain: Frostwind Plateau

From the entrance bonfire, enter the nearby ruins. Take the stairs right of the barrier and turn left through the torch-lit arch. Follow the path to its edge, jump down and light the first brazier underneath on the right. Walk through the nearby arch, turn right and pass through the next arch. The second brazier is on the left, partly buried in debris.

Turn around and take the right-hand arch with descending stairs. Continue down, turn right and follow the path through another arch. The third brazier is behind the debris. Lighting it opens the barrier and its two chests.

Milk Ice Mountain: Snowdrift Passage

Begin at the bonfire beneath the bridge. Head north, turn left and climb the hill through the small opening. Turn left onto the bridge, cross it, then turn right around the ruins. At the far corner, enter through the window on the left. This route also bypasses the intact starting crystal.

The first brazier is inside. Take its right-hand stairs up, turn right, then descend the stairs into the basement. The second brazier is at the far end with a chest and note. Return to the first brazier and turn right, away from the entry window, for the third. Continue through the arch to the opened barrier.

Amber Syrup Lake: Broken Stonewood and Mist Levee

Teleport to the bonfire by the ruins between these landmarks. Follow the stairs into the building and light the first brazier in front of the barrier. Leave by the same entrance for the second beside the crates. Follow the path to the third beneath the stairs, then return inside for the chest.

Amber Syrup Lake: Tempest Tower

From the nearby bonfire, pass Keeper Fuzzy and enter the tower ruins. The first brazier is immediately on the left. Turn around to find the barrier and second brazier up the right stairs. The third is on the opposite side, up the left stairs.

Crimson Castle: Tattered Silk Lane

Use the bonfire near the Scroll-Leaf Scorpion spawn. The first brazier is beside that fire. Turn left and clear the enemies around the prominent barrier; its second brazier stands to the left. Turn around and climb the wooden structure to the crates at the end for the third. The opened room contains two Rare Chests.

Crimson Castle: Dragon Tower

At the nearby bonfire, light the brazier directly in front of the barrier. The second is behind the Shadowred Armored Fuzzy. The third stands before the closed door near the left dragon statue at the castle entrance. Return for the Rare Chest after all three are lit.
