Nodusfall was revealed on August 25, 2026, and a good deal was confirmed in the week that followed: a press demo on August 26, a Chinese press release on August 27, and a development-team FAQ on August 28. The answers below reflect what has actually been stated as of September 11, 2026. Where the answer is unknown, it says so.
Release and Availability
Question | Answer |
|---|---|
When does Nodusfall release? | No release date or window has been announced. |
What platforms is it coming to? | PC is confirmed. The development team said PC will definitely be supported and that all other platforms are undecided. See Release and Platforms. |
Is it coming to console or mobile? | Not announced either way. A pre-registration form asks which platform you would want for a test and offers PC, iOS and Android, but that question is about testing, not about where the game will be sold. |
Is there a storefront page? | No storefront listing exists. |
Can I pre-register? | Yes, on the official site. Mainland China has a separate site with its own pre-registration. |
Is there a beta? | No test has been named, dated or scheduled anywhere. A recruitment questionnaire is open in mainland China, but qualification lookup and client download are both closed. |
Will it be free to play? | Yes. Confirmed by the development team. See Monetisation. |
Gameplay
Question | Answer |
|---|---|
Is it co-op? | Yes. Co-op against large enemies is the core of the game, and the team calls instanced co-op content the central way to play. |
Can I play solo? | Yes. The team states most of the core content can be played solo and that multiplayer is not compulsory. |
How many players in a party? | Four. |
Is there PvP? | Not yet. Small-scale PvP and PvPvE are planned, described by the team as seasoning on top of the PvE core rather than the focus. |
What are Divine Skills? | Abilities unlocked by taking divine power from defeated enemies, set before you deploy and charged during a fight. See Divine Skills. |
Can I change class? | You pick from prepared characters rather than building one, and you can switch between characters and loadouts. At least one character in the development build offered a choice of sub-class. |
Is it open world? | Not confirmed. The Chinese regulatory notice mentions freely exploring the scene map, and the team says wide RPG-format story maps are planned, but nothing describes the game as open world. |
Does it have gacha? | Characters are not obtained through random draws. That is the only thing on the record, and no gacha mechanic of any kind has been ruled out for anything else. See Monetisation. |
What engine does it use? | The studio states the reveal trailer footage was captured using Unreal Engine 5. It has not given an engine specification for the finished game. |
Setting and Characters
Question | Answer |
|---|---|
What is a Weaver? | The role the player takes, and in the story a messenger shaped by the Divine who fell to the mortal world. See Weavers. |
What is the Dreadnodus? | The calamity that descends on the world, corrupts legendary beings and plunges it into ruin. Defined in the official debut post. See Dreadnodus. |
Which mythologies appear? | The studio names eastern folklore and Norse material directly. Its Chinese press release identifies the ten suns, Qiongqi and the nine-tailed fox from the Classic of Mountains and Seas, and a dragon drawn from Norse myth and the Nibelungenlied. |
Are there named characters? | No playable character has been named by any first-party source. Names circulating from the press demo do not survive a cross-check and are not recorded here. |
Is there an age rating? | A Chinese suitability notice gives 16 and over. No board rating exists in any other territory. |
About This Page
A lot of what circulates about this game comes from a single 30-minute demo of a build in development, or from sites with no first-party sourcing at all. Release dates, platform lists beyond PC, and character rosters are the three areas where invented detail turns up most often. None of them has been announced.
