Nodusfall is a multi-mythology co-op action game in development at miHoYo and published globally by HoYoverse. It was shown to the public for the first time during the opening night livestream of gamescom on August 25, 2026, and an official website went live alongside the reveal. The game is set in a world where divine authority has crumbled and order has collapsed, and players take the role of a Weaver who fights alongside companions against enormous foes drawn from mythologies around the world.
The picture filled in quickly after the reveal. A closed-doors press demo ran on August 26, a Chinese press release followed on August 27, and the development team published a ten-question FAQ on August 28 that settled platforms, business model and solo play. What is still missing is a release window, a platform list beyond PC, and any named character.

Premise
The official description places the game after a collapse of the divine order. Players step into a world where both divine authority and order have fallen, forge bonds with powerful companions, battle earth-shattering foes, seize whatever divinity remains, and uncover secrets buried deep within the world. Each clash against a formidable enemy is framed as an encounter built around teamwork.
The cause of the collapse now has a name. A mysterious Dreadnodus descends on the world, spreads catastrophe across the land, corrupts legendary beings and plunges the world into ruin, and the Weaver is charged with severing it at its root. The reveal trailer adds that the player character is one of the lost Weavers, wandering an age without order in which myth is yet unwritten and the gods have fallen silent.
What Has Been Shown
Four pillars on the official site cover the shape of play: fighting colossal legendary foes, cooperative play with allies, taking divine power from defeated enemies to unlock Divine Skills, and switching between roles and loadouts. Confirmed Gameplay covers each in detail alongside what the development team has since said.
Only one build has been played outside the studio. The Gamescom 2026 Press Demo on August 26, 2026 put four players through three escalating boss fights in roughly 30 minutes, and almost everything known about how the game feels comes from that session. It was a build in development and is treated as such throughout this wiki.
What Is Not Yet Confirmed
A release date or release window.
Any platform beyond PC. The development team has said PC will definitely be supported and that everything else is undecided.
Any named playable character or companion. No first-party source has named one.
The final class or role list. Accounts of the same demo session disagree on what the four characters were.
Named regions, zones or locations. The debut post says only that new regions will be revealed one by one.
Whether any random-draw system exists. Only character acquisition has been addressed, and it is not one.
The shipped game's engine. The studio states the trailer footage was captured using Unreal Engine 5 but has not given an engine spec for the game.
Any test date, region or platform, beyond an open recruitment questionnaire in mainland China.
