Overview
Neverness to Everness is officially confirmed for macOS, making it one of the few Unreal Engine 5 gacha-style action RPGs to offer native Mac support. The announcement was made on March 3, 2026, by developer Hotta Studio and publisher Perfect World Games. The Mac version will be available at the global launch on April 29, 2026, alongside PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android.
System Requirements
Requirement | Specification |
|---|---|
Operating System | macOS 14.0 (Sonoma) or later |
Processor | Apple M1 chip or later |
Storage | To be confirmed (PC version requires 60 GB SSD) |
Price | Free-to-play |
The macOS version requires Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, or M4 chip). Intel-based Macs are not supported. This aligns with Apple's transition to its own processors and the game's use of Metal rendering for GPU acceleration.
Cross-Platform Features
Neverness to Everness supports full cross-platform play and cross-progression across all supported devices. Mac players can:
Play with friends on PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android in the same game world.
Transfer progress seamlessly between Mac and any other supported platform.
Access all the same content, events, and updates as players on other platforms.
This makes the Mac version a full-featured client rather than a limited port. Players who own both a Mac and an iPhone or iPad can switch between devices without losing progress.
Apple Ecosystem Integration
The Mac version joins the existing iOS and iPad versions to give NTE a presence across the entire Apple ecosystem. The App Store listing for NTE confirms compatibility with iPhone (iOS 15.0+), iPad (iPadOS 15.0+), and Mac (macOS 14.0+, Apple M1+). The Mac app is published by N2E Entertainment Pte. Ltd.

Workarounds Before Launch
Before the native Mac version launches, some players have used Android emulators (such as MuMuPlayer or BlueStacks) to run the mobile version on Mac. These emulators have limitations compared to the upcoming native client, including reduced performance, potential input lag, and incompatibility with some macOS versions. Once the native Mac version launches on April 29, 2026, these workarounds will no longer be necessary.
Xbox Absence
While Mac support was added to the launch lineup, Xbox Series X|S remains absent from all official announcements. The game will launch on PC, PS5, Mac, iOS, and Android. No Xbox version has been confirmed or denied.
