The date was announced on 29 September 2026 on the official global site and in a video message from producer Dong Huang, released alongside a separate message from Capcom's Monster Hunter series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. Until then the official channel had given only a 2026 window, most recently at the close of its August 2026 monster reveal.
