Trading is how you complete your collection and round out a battle team in LumenTale: Memories of Trey. With around 140 species of Animon to find, swapping creatures with other players fills gaps you cannot catch on your own. The game offers three ways to trade, and the same system handles a separate set of collectible cards.
Method | Description |
|---|---|
Trade Station | A connected network that lets you trade Animon through the game's online system. |
Direct with Friends | Trade creatures directly with people you know. |
Community | Trade with the wider player community to find what you are missing. |
Some Animon are hard to find, and trading is the practical answer. It also lets you cooperate with other players, swapping duplicates for species you still need. Building the perfect team often means combining what you catch with what you trade for.
Trading is one half of the game's online suite; the other is competitive battling. Both run through the same online services, so the systems sit side by side.
Online Feature | Details |
|---|---|
Online Trade | Trade Animon and collectible cards with other players. |
PvP Battles | Compete in Quick Match, Ranked Match, and Tournament-style modes. |
Play With Friends | Match against friends directly or search for other players. |
Spectate | Watch battles as they happen. |
For competitive battle details, see the Multiplayer Features and Combat System pages.
On Nintendo Switch, a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to access the online multiplayer features, including PvP battles and trading. See Multiplayer Features.
Alongside Animon, there is a collectible card set with more than 100 cards spread across three sets. Each booster pack contains two Common, two Uncommon, and one Holo card, plus one final slot that is either a Rare card or a rarer Power Card.
Slot | What You Get |
|---|---|
1-2 | Common card. |
3-4 | Uncommon card. |
5 | Holo card. |
6 | Rare card or, more rarely, a Power Card. |
Cards can be traded alongside Animon, which gives collectors a parallel trading scene to chase. See Early Adopter Pack Bonuses for the launch-window card pack contents.
The Trade Station is the hub of the trading system, a connected network that links players together for exchanges. It sits alongside the game's other online features, including PvP battles described on the Multiplayer Features and Combat System pages.
Hold onto duplicate Animon to trade for species you are missing.
Use friend trades for reliable, agreed swaps.
Browse community trades when you need something specific.
Save duplicate cards for trade as well; the pack composition means commons accumulate quickly.
