The game releases on PC through Steam and on Nintendo Switch on the same day. It includes online features such as PvP battles and trading, described on the Combat System and Trading pages.
LumenTale: Memories of Trey supports several languages, including English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese.

A free demo is available, letting players try the opening of the adventure ahead of launch. The release date shifted during development: originally planned for an earlier window, the game was pushed to spring 2026 before settling on its May 26, 2026 date.
