Platforms
The game released on PC through Steam and on Nintendo Switch on the same day. It is also supported on Nintendo Switch 2 with behavior consistent with the original Switch hardware, and Steam Deck is playable. The PC build does not ship on macOS or Linux at launch. It includes online features such as PvP battles and trading, described on the Combat System and Trading pages.
The standard edition is priced at EUR 24.99, with that price applying on both Steam and Nintendo Switch. The launch trailer debuted on May 26, 2026.
PlayStation and Xbox
LumenTale is not available on PlayStation or Xbox at launch, and no PlayStation or Xbox version has been announced.

LumenTale: Memories of Trey is available in 8 languages: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. Interface and subtitles are provided in all eight languages, while full voice acting is available in English.

Age Ratings
The game is rated PEGI 12 in Europe and carries content descriptors for mild fantasy violence and references to alcohol and tobacco. Regional boards have set their own ratings around the same age window.
Pre-Orders and Early Adopter Pack
There were no pre-orders for LumenTale, so the game could only be bought after launch. Instead, players who purchase the game during its first month, from May 26 to June 25, 2026, can redeem the Early Adopter Pack, which contains three sets of in-game items ranging from consumables to cosmetics to collectibles. Demo and Development
A free demo was released in February 2026, four months ahead of the full launch, letting players try the opening of the adventure. Save files from the demo are compatible with the full release, so progress you make in the demo carries forward. See Does Demo Progress Carry Over. The release date shifted during development: originally planned for an earlier window, the game was pushed to spring 2026 before settling on its May 26, 2026 date.
