The game released on PC through Steam and on Nintendo Switch on the same day. It is also supported on Nintendo Switch 2 with behavior consistent with the original Switch hardware, and Steam Deck is playable. The PC build does not ship on macOS or Linux at launch. It includes online features such as PvP battles and trading, described on the Combat System and Trading pages.
The standard edition is priced at EUR 24.99, with that price applying on both Steam and Nintendo Switch. The publisher and developer have stated that information about future PlayStation and Xbox versions will be shared at a later date, with no current commitment to specific platforms or dates.

LumenTale: Memories of Trey is available in 8 languages: English, Italian, French, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. Interface and subtitles are provided in all eight languages, while full voice acting is available in English.

The game is rated PEGI 12 in Europe and carries content descriptors for mild fantasy violence and references to alcohol and tobacco. Regional boards have set their own ratings around the same age window.
A free demo is available, letting players try the opening of the adventure ahead of launch. Save files from the demo are compatible with the full release, so progress you make in the demo carries forward. The release date shifted during development: originally planned for an earlier window, the game was pushed to spring 2026 before settling on its May 26, 2026 date.
