Overview

Crossplay is still not confirmed for LumenTale: Memories of Trey. Three months after release the developer has not said whether the Nintendo Switch and Steam versions can interact for battles, trading, or shared saves, and the announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions were revealed without any statement on cross-platform play either.

Crossplay Not Confirmed

It has not been confirmed whether the Switch and Steam versions support crossplay at launch. Specifically, the following remain unconfirmed:

Until the developers confirm whether crossplay is supported, players should assume that battles, trades, and saves stay within a single platform. For the online options that are confirmed, see Multiplayer Features, and for the systems the game runs on, see Available Platforms and Consoles Guide.

What Is Confirmed

The online features themselves are confirmed and working within a platform: PvP in Quick Match, Ranked Match and Tournament formats, spectating, and trading both Animon and cards. What is unconfirmed is only whether those features reach across platforms. See Multiplayer Features for the full list.

On Nintendo Switch, a Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use any of the online features, whether or not crossplay ever arrives.

What This Means for the Console Versions

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions were announced on August 20, 2026 for release later in 2026. Their announcement said nothing about crossplay or cross-save, so treat any claim that the console versions will connect to the PC or Switch player pool as unconfirmed.
