Alongside catching and battling Animon, LumenTale: Memories of Trey lets you craft useful items and cook food. Both activities happen at points called the Fountain, which double as rest stops on your travels.
The Fountain is described as a place to rest while on your adventure, where you can craft items and cook food. Stopping at one is a chance to prepare supplies before heading into new territory, much like a campsite or kitchen between expeditions.
Crafting turns gathered materials into useful items. These support your team in and out of battle, from consumables to other helpful goods. Keeping a stock of crafted items makes longer trips through the wilds and dungeons of Talea far more manageable.
Cooking lets you prepare food from ingredients you collect. Food is a practical part of keeping your party going during exploration. As with crafting, it rewards gathering materials as you travel.
Prepare consumables before tackling a new region or dungeon.
Turn gathered materials into items rather than letting them sit unused.
Use the Fountain as a natural rest point between encounters.
See Items and Currency for the goods you can make and spend, Exploration for gathering on the road, and Anispace for caring for your creatures at home.
