Ahead of its 2027 launch, Last Harbor already carries age ratings in three markets. All three were issued against the pre-release build advertised on the game's store listing, and no mark from a North American or European board appears there yet.
Ratings by Region
Region | Rating | Content Descriptors |
|---|---|---|
Brazil (DEJUS) | 14 | Violence |
Germany | 16 | Graphic violence |
Indonesia (IGRS) | 18 | Online interaction, violence, horror |
The three marks sit some distance apart. Brazil classifies the game for players aged 14 and over on the strength of violence alone. The German mark raises that to 16 and singles out graphic violence. Indonesia places it at 18, the strictest of the three, and is the only market to add a horror descriptor.
What the Descriptors Point To
Violence is the one descriptor common to all three, which is consistent with a game built around tactical first-person fighting against the undead and, when players choose it, against each other. That side of the game is covered in Combat and the Undead. The online interaction descriptor is about people rather than content: it flags that survivors share a persistent world and speak to one another in it, which is described in Multiplayer and PvP.
Interactive Elements
Listed separately from the age marks, the store page flags two interactive elements: in-game chat and online interactivity. These notices cover what players do to and say to one another, which sits outside what a rating board classifies, so they are published alongside the ratings rather than inside them. No additional content descriptors have been set on the listing.
Still to Come
Ratings issued before a game ships can be revised, and more boards can classify a title as it approaches release, so this picture is unlikely to be the final one for a game not due until 2027. No ESRB or PEGI mark is on record, and no rating has been published in any market beyond the three above. See Development for the wider release picture.
