Overview

Vulberry is an Anima of the Satiation Aspect. It is one of the five starting Anima handed to every player during the tutorial, alongside Puddlipup, Pupanoo, Nomnom, and Rimechime. HoYoverse gave it an official compendium entry on 24 June 2026, ahead of the Evolution Test.

Design and Personality

Vulberry is a fox-like creature with cream-smooth fur dappled with vivid strawberry-jam splashes, a strawberry worn at its collar, and a swirled tail its sheet plays up as fluffy and "delicious." The official description says it is most willing to share this sweetness, by throwing cakes. Its sheet surrounds it with desserts and calls out its love of sweets and strawberries.

Chromatic Variant

Vulberry's compendium sheet carried the announcement that Chromatic Anima have appeared, showing a recolored Vulberry with a pinker palette beside the standard coloring. Chromatic Anima are rare alternate-color versions of standard creatures aimed at collectors; how the variants are encountered is covered under Anima Evolution.

Utility and Combat

In play, Vulberry is the starter team's social specialist: it has NPC interaction abilities, and its cake-smearing ability raises NPC favorability. As a Satiation creature it contributes to Satiation synergies when deployed alongside other Satiation Anima such as Puddlipup, Nomnom, and Pupanoo. Community compendium listings give its battlefield Trait as Mastermind, but HoYoverse publishes no Trait field, so that classification is unconfirmed.
