Revision 4

Overview

Noctumbra is a five-star Anima revealed ahead of the Evolution Test. It is the signature companion of Olympia, the acting director of the True Nexus Syndicate in Iia, and it headlined its own teaser presented as an in-universe short film titled "Forbidden! An Arcane Rite, A Legendary Anima." Detailed combat stats have not been published; beyond the one-line official description, HoYoverse has released no further lore, so the entry below covers only what the roster and beta coverage confirm.

Classification

Noctumbra is a five-star creature of the Dark Aspect built for the front line. Its Trait is not settled. HoYoverse publishes no Trait value for any Anima, and the two references that track the in-game compendium most closely disagree on this single field, giving either Gladiator or Explorer while matching each other on everything else.

In Battle

Every listing that covers Noctumbra positions it as a frontline carry dealing physical damage, so it is built to stand at the front rather than support from behind. Its Dark Aspect lets it contribute to Dark synergy stacks alongside other Dark creatures on a team. Full skill values, star-up scaling, and star-rating requirements remain unconfirmed.

Lore

In its reveal, Noctumbra is described as a creature that emerges only at night, moving through darkened forests with ease and without need of light. It is framed as a legendary Anima tied to Olympia and the True Nexus Syndicate, one of the three power Factions operating in Iia.

Official Profile

The official compendium describes Noctumbra this way: Noctumbra emerges only at night, traversing darkened forests effortlessly without any need for light.
