As of October 2026, two playable characters had been revealed for Guns & Dragons: Sieg and Eryn. Characters are not locked to a weapon class, and the director said several players in the same squad can pick the same character.
Character | First playable | Associated weapon | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
Sieg | First playtest (July 30 to August 10, 2026) | Firearms | Tightened up using first-playtest feedback and kept fully playable in the second playtest |
Eryn | Second playtest (September 17 to 30, 2026) | Bows | An elf of the forest folk who calls on spirit flowers and wind spirits |
Sieg
Sieg was the character players used in the first playtest. In the September 8, 2026 post announcing the second round, the studio said player feedback had helped it tighten up Sieg and the game as a whole. It also said Sieg was not finished yet, so he stayed fully playable alongside Eryn. The same post encouraged players to try Sieg with a bow.
Eryn
Eryn was introduced for the second playtest together with the bow, a new weapon class. The studio describes her as an elf of the forest folk who calls on spirit flowers and wind spirits to support her squad on the battlefield. Korean press coverage of the second playtest added that her spirit flowers detect and attack nearby enemies, that she can use wind to push enemies back or stay in aerial combat, and that she moves with super jumps and gliding. The studio noted she could already be spotted in its trailer, and press reports say she was first formally shown at gamescom 2026. After the second playtest ended, the studio said it had received a lot of feedback on Eryn and the bow.
Plans for More Characters
At gamescom 2026, when co-op was still capped at three players, director Park Jun-woo said the team aimed to have two playable characters at Early Access launch and three by version 1.0. He said that a three-player co-op game needs at least three character types. He also said a Mage class with magic staves had been discussed internally. As of October 2026, no third character has been named.
