As of October 2026, Guns & Dragons has no release date. Its Steam page lists the release as Coming soon, and the studio's store text says it will launch when the guns are fully loaded and the dragons are hungry, or in other words, when the team is ready.
Early Access
ABUTTON has not announced an Early Access date. The Steam page does not mention Early Access as of October 2026. Korean press reports from May and September 2026 said the studio was aiming to launch in Steam Early Access during 2026, and the director spoke in August 2026 of plans for both an Early Access release and a later 1.0. A September 2025 interview had referred to an Early Access target of March 2026, a window that passed without a release.
At gamescom 2026, the game's PM, Kim Ik-song, said the date would be announced through the studio's official channels once player feedback had been worked in, content had been expanded, and the team was confident the game could meet players' expectations at release. Director Park Jun-woo said that a paid Early Access release should at least let players defeat a dragon, include Chapters 1 through 3 and offer a complete run. Both 2026 playtests offered only Chapter 1.
