GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT places RE-X alongside a rag-tag crew of unsung soldiers who join the fight for humanity's survival. The following characters have been introduced in official materials.

Vee

Vee is a small, round support robot and RE-X's partner, accompanying him as he pilots Gundam Helix. Companions of this kind are a recurring, beloved presence in the Gundam franchise, and Vee carries that tradition into this new universe.

Sofia

Sofia is described as the game's heroine, a mysterious young woman who keeps watch over RE-X's actions. Further details about her role have not yet been revealed.

Unsung Soldiers

RE-X and his companions are framed as unsung soldiers thrown together against impossible odds. Additional crew members are expected to be detailed closer to release.
