Removed the V-Rock return claim and the two-stations figure, restructured the radio section around Coral Chorus as the only named station, and dated the negative
Rockstar Games has not published an official soundtrack or radio station list for Grand Theft Auto VI. Seven songs have been identified from the audio of the two official trailers, one of the game's radio stations has been named in official media, and at least one artist has publicly confirmed involvement with the game.

The following songs are audible in Rockstar's official trailers. Rockstar does not publish tracklists alongside trailers, so identification comes from community analysis of the trailer audio. All seven songs below are widely and consistently agreed upon across community analysis of the official trailer audio.
Song | Artist | Year | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
"Love Is a Long Road" | Tom Petty | 1989 | Entire trailer soundtrack. Spotify streams spiked ~37,000% overnight. |
Trailer 2 contains six identifiable songs. Five play on in-game car or building radios during a montage of Vice City life. One plays during an in-game Ammu-Nation commercial.
Song | Artist | Year | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
"Hot Together" | The Pointer Sisters | 1986 | Main trailer song, plays for most of the runtime |
"Thunder Island" | Jay Ferguson | 1977 | Heard on a car radio during the trailer montage |
"Child Support" | Zenglen | 2004 | Haitian kompa band; fits the Miami-inspired setting |
"Everybody Have Fun Tonight" | Wang Chung | 1986 | Heard on a car radio at approximately 0:34 |
"Talkin' to Myself Again" | Tammy Wynette | 1987 | Country track; heard at approximately 0:41 |
"I Love Rock 'n' Roll" | The Arrows | 1975 | Plays during the Phil's Ammu-Nation commercial (~2:09) |
The inclusion of Tammy Wynette's country track has led to speculation that GTA VI may include a country music radio station, which would be the first in the series since GTA: San Andreas. The Arrows' "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" (the 1975 original, predating Joan Jett's more famous 1982 cover) plays during a brief in-game Ammu-Nation television commercial. Some sources note the exact version in the trailer sounds slightly different from known recordings, and the precise version has not been definitively confirmed.

Coral Chorus is the only Grand Theft Auto VI radio station named in official media so far. No other station has been confirmed, and coverage of the August 2026 Extended Look did not name one. Station lists circulating outside Rockstar's own announcements are unverified and are not used here. Checked September 12, 2026.
Coral Chorus was identified in one of the 70 official screenshots released alongside Trailer 2, where the station name is visible on a vehicle's radio display. It was first spotted on May 11, 2025. Rockstar has not issued a formal press statement about the station, but the name comes from Rockstar's own released media, which is why it is treated as named rather than rumoured. The station's genre, playlist and hosts are unknown.
V-Rock has not been confirmed as a playable radio station in Grand Theft Auto VI. The station appeared in GTA: Vice City (2002) and Vice City Stories (2006), and the sole piece of evidence for a return is a faded V-Rock t-shirt worn by Jason Duval in official screenshots released alongside Trailer 2. A garment carrying a station's logo establishes that the brand exists in the world; it does not establish that the station is on the radio dial, and Rockstar has published nothing further about it. Its original playlist was 1980s hair metal and hard rock, which says nothing about what a station under that name would play here.

Trailer 2 includes a brief in-game television commercial for "Phil's Ammu-Nation" at approximately the 2:09 mark. A mulleted character announces: "Come to Phil's Ammu-Nation today! We got more guns than the law allows!" The commercial plays The Arrows' "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" in the background. The character is widely believed to be a reimagining of Phil Cassidy, a recurring character from GTA III, Vice City, and Vice City Stories. For more on Phil, see the Supporting Characters article.
In January 2024, during a Twitch livestream, rapper and singer T-Pain stated that he had started "working on Grand Theft Auto 6" and that Rockstar told him he could no longer play on a third-party GTA V roleplay server because it conflicted with his involvement. T-Pain said Rockstar explained it as a conflict of interest, comparing it to someone re-recording his album. His exact role (radio host, licensed music, voice acting, or original compositions) has not been specified. Rockstar has not commented on T-Pain's statements.
GTA soundtracks have historically revived interest in older music. Trailer 1's use of Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" caused a roughly 37,000% spike in Spotify streams overnight. Trailer 2's "Hot Together" by The Pointer Sisters also saw a significant streaming boost. GTA: Vice City's 1980s soundtrack was itself a cultural touchpoint when it released in 2002, introducing a generation of players to artists like Flock of Seagulls, Blondie, and Michael Jackson.
Rockstar has released no official information about the full radio station lineup, total song count, talk radio programming, or licensed music partnerships. Previous GTA games typically featured 15 to 20 radio stations covering genres from hip-hop and pop to talk radio and classical. The full soundtrack will likely not be revealed until closer to or after the November 19, 2026 release.
