Dated the note on the unexplained group origin
Veritas of the Heavens is one of the Sworn Six of Paladia in Final Fantasy Resonance, the group that Veritas of the Dark also belongs to. Square Enix named him on July 16, 2026, in the same release that introduced Veritas of the Waters.
He is described as hard to read and impossible to outmaneuver, and he pursues the destruction of the Crystals with cold dispassion rather than any visible motive. He dominates the skies with his lance and with wind-aspected techniques.

All six of the Sworn Six of Paladia are now named. Veritas of the Heavens stands with Veritas of the Dark and Veritas of the Waters, and three more members were revealed in August 2026. Veritas of the Flame fights with an axe and shrugs off almost anything thrown at him, Veritas of the Earth pairs a gargantuan shield with Earth magic and seeks out stronger opponents, and Veritas of the Light answers with Light attacks and salvos from the cannons fused to her gauntlets. As of September 12, 2026 the group's origin and its connection to the story's wider stakes remain unexplained.
