Ramuh is an optional lightning esper reached through the back entrance of Mt. Thunderclap in Dirnado. Speak to the girl near Dilmagia's entrance for a map clue, then follow the mountain route and defeat Ramuh to recruit him.
Summoning
Summoning costs 50 MP. Ramuh has lightning resistance and can cast Thundara. Like other espers, he acts for three turns before leaving after his finisher. His Judgement Bolt attacks all enemies with lightning. Recruit him as an additional elemental option when preparing the party's Visions and spells.
Recruitment battle
The optional level 20 encounter has 24,000 HP and is weak to Earth. Shell reduces its magical damage, and Cape of the Raiju halves Lightning damage to its wearer. Prepare Earth damage before returning through Mt. Thunderclap; the fight can wait until more Earth skills are available.
Other early encounter preparations are listed in the Boss Fight Quick Guide.
