Noctis
August 26, 2026 at 05:35 AM
Added the published profile and kit: crown prince of Lucis, Ice and Lightning spells backed by Light physical attacks; replaced the placeholder elements row and anchored the series entry to the realm named in official material
Noctis is one of the legacy Visions in Final Fantasy Resonance. Square Enix confirmed him on August 14, 2026, in a short official video that introduced him as a Vision.
Square Enix says players can battle alongside Noctis, resonate with his Vision within the Sanctum of Light, and unleash his abilities in combat. Official material published in August 2026 filled in the profile and the kit that the first announcement left blank.
He is described as the crown prince of Lucis, a kingdom whose modern advancements were achieved through the power of the Crystal. In battle he supplements Ice and Lightning spells with an onslaught of Light physical attacks.

The producer has described the roster as sixteen legacy Visions, one for each numbered title from FINAL FANTASY I through XVI. Official material now names Noctis as the crown prince of Lucis, and Lucis is the realm of FINAL FANTASY XV, so the pairing no longer rests on the shape of the roster alone.
Legacy heroes' vision crystals wait inside the sanctums scattered across the world, and stepping into one lets you revisit a story from the original game before claiming the Vision. Every Vision is earnable in-game with no DLC, each powers a unique Resonance attack, and abilities learned from one stay equippable while a different Vision is active, within the cost limit covered at Abilities and Mastery. As with every Vision, the kit is designed from zero for this game, so nothing from the original title carries over. For the full roster of named Visions, see List of Visions.
