Added a reference for buffs and debuffs
Buffs and debuffs temporarily change battle performance. Check the target before casting: selecting the wrong side can help an enemy.
Effect | Function |
|---|---|
Brave / Debrave | Raise / lower Physical Attack. |
Faith / Defaith | Raise / lower Magic Attack. |
Protect / Deprotect | Raise / lower Physical Defense. |
Shell / Deshell | Raise / lower Magic Defense. |
Haste / Slow | Raise / lower Speed. |
Stagger Defense Down | Increase incoming stagger damage. |
Regen | Restore HP each turn. |
Reflect | Return eligible magic to its caster; some character-specific magic is excluded. |
Reraise | Automatically revive the target once after KO. |
Skills, Limit Bursts, Resonances and some equipment can apply these effects. Enemies can use them too.
