Queen’s Blood is the collectible card game minigame returning in Final Fantasy VII Revelation. It first appeared in the previous entry in the Remake series, and the director has confirmed it comes back for the finale in an enhanced form with several changes.
The biggest change is that Queen’s Blood now has its own dedicated storyline, and that story follows Red XIII rather than Cloud, who held the role in the previous game. The choice grew out of a scene in the previous entry in which Red XIII, standing on two legs and in disguise, played a hand of Queen’s Blood.
The director has said the return was shaped by player feedback. The reworked version adjusts the rules with balance changes and adds difficulty settings players can choose from, so both newcomers and veterans can find a comfortable level of challenge. As with the game's other diversions, most of its rewards are no longer tied to combat items, and players who prefer to skip it can do so.
Aspect | Detail |

Queen’s Blood is one of several diversions returning in Revelation. For the wider set of activities and how they fit around battles, see the Combat System page.
That reward change is part of a wider principle for Revelation. The director has said rewards are matched to the activity that earns them, so battle content pays out in rewards that help in battle, while the diversions pay out in customisation items and cosmetic skins.
