benkimchi is the solo developer of DREADNOUGHT TARTARUS. The project is self-published, with a Steam page and trailers released under the benkimchi name.

Design Sensibility

benkimchi has publicly noted that part of the UI design language for Dreadnought Tartarus was inspired by PS3 and PSP interfaces. That gives the game its distinct early-to-mid-2000s anime sci-fi aesthetic, setting it apart from the cleaner, modern-indie visual default that most Steam releases gravitate toward.
