Klei Entertainment is the Canadian game studio behind the Don't Starve franchise. They are both developer and publisher for Don't Starve Elsewhere, and they have handled every major release in the franchise.

• Don't Starve launched in 2013.

• Don't Starve: Reign of Giants and subsequent DLCs expanded it.

• Don't Starve Together launched in 2016, introducing the co-op framework that the series has used since.

• Don't Starve Elsewhere was announced in April 2026 at the Triple-i Initiative showcase as the first fully original Don't Starve release since 2016.
