Overview

Simon de Montfort is a wanted fugitive in Crimson Desert and one of the bounty targets available in the Hernand region. Unlike most bounty targets who stand and fight, Simon is known for his tendency to flee when approached, requiring players to act quickly to prevent his escape.

Location

Simon de Montfort can be found in Scholastone at the Everfrost Basin. The frozen terrain of this area can make pursuit challenging, so players should plan their approach carefully before initiating the encounter.

How to Capture

Bounty posters for Simon de Montfort begin appearing in Chapter 2 at various locations throughout Hernand. One poster is commonly found on a pole at the Hernand Farmhouse. Look for the purple bounty poster icon on your minimap to locate available bounties.

Simon de Montfort will swiftly run away once you reach his vicinity, making speed essential. Sprint toward him immediately upon spotting him and use a tackle to bring him down. Once tackled, you will need to hit him multiple times to fully restrain him. After he is secured, carry him or place him on a horse and deliver him to a guard station or jail to collect the reward.

Tips

• Approach Simon from a direction that cuts off his escape route. Positioning yourself between him and open ground makes the tackle easier.

• Sprint and tackle immediately upon reaching his vicinity. Hesitation will give him enough time to escape, forcing you to chase him further.

• Unlike combat-focused bounty targets, Simon requires quick reflexes rather than fighting skill. Focus on closing the distance as fast as possible.
