The Savage Fangs are a nomadic Hostile band that roams the Crimson Desert and preys on travelers. Because their signature mounts are boars that must be watered regularly, they claim a vast territory that includes wetland patches as well as open desert. Many of their members originally came from Kharonso, a village otherwise known for its peaceful trolls, and for a long time other bandit groups mocked them, only for the Savage Fangs' ranks to expand rapidly.
Their named field boss is Ravok of the Savage Fangs, an ogre mounted on an exceptionally large boar and armed with a cannon that can launch players across the fight arena if left unchecked. Ravok is located far to the east of the map and is the target required to unlock the Rock Tusk Warthog mount.
Kharonso - origin village of many Savage Fangs members.
Rock Tusk Warthog - legendary mount unlocked after beating Ravok.
Sandfang Marauders - rival desert bandit faction.
The Helms - rival desert tribe.
Goldenscale Bandits - iguana-mounted raiders in the same region.
Hostile factions sit below Neutral in the game's five-tier reputation ladder, which runs War, Hostile, Neutral, Friendly, and Alliance. Groups at War or Hostile attack on sight and impose reputation penalties for entering their territory, which means the usual way to interact with this faction is through combat, bounty hunting, and the clear-the-stronghold style of faction quest. Reputation can still shift if the player completes specific story objectives that strike at the faction's leadership or disrupt their operations.
