Overview

Ricefish is a beginner-level freshwater fish in Crimson Desert. Described as a silvery freshwater fish that tends to swim near the water's surface, the Ricefish is found in shallow, slow-moving water such as rice paddies and calm ponds. It is one of the easiest fish to catch in the game, making it an ideal target for players who are just learning the fishing system.

How to Catch

Ricefish can be caught using a Fishing Rod in shallow freshwater areas. Look for calm ponds and slow-moving streams, particularly in the Hernand region. Cast your line near the surface and follow the standard fishing minigame to reel it in. As a beginner fish, Ricefish puts up minimal resistance, so even players new to the fishing system should be able to land one quickly.

Uses

• Can be cleaned at a campfire or butchery to yield Fish Fillet

• Fish Fillet is used in cooking recipes like Fish Porridge, Battered Fish, and Fish Skewers

• Can be sold to vendors for a small amount of copper

• Registered in the Knowledge menu under Creatures > Aquatic Creatures
