Retrieve the Item Maegu Requested

Also during the Ritual Preparations main quest in Chapter 8, Maegu asks Kliff to retrieve three items from a beach search area. The items are spread out across the sand and shipwrecks, and one of them requires using Nature's Grasp to access.

Quest Details

Item 1: Talisman

The Talisman is on the ground in the sand in front of the shipwreck at the northern edge of the search area. It sits out in the open and is easy to spot once you are in the right part of the beach.

Item 2: Censer

The Censer is the tricky one. It is beneath a large wooden shipwreck that has a locked door. To get it, use Nature's Grasp (Triangle + Circle on PlayStation, or Y + B on Xbox), then press Square (X on Xbox) to freeze the shipwreck temporarily. While the ship is frozen, quickly run underneath and grab the Censer from the center.

You can also access the ship's interior through a hole in the bottom. If you position yourself under the hole and let the frozen ship fall, it opens up the interior where you can find additional loot and unlock the locked door from the inside.

Item 3: Bells

The Bells are at the southern edge of the search area, lying in the sand on the beach. Like the Talisman, this item is out in the open and easy to collect once you reach the right spot.

Tips

• The Censer is the only item that requires an ability to access. The Talisman and Bells are simple pickups.

• If the Nature's Grasp freeze timer runs out before you grab the Censer, just use the ability again. There is no cooldown penalty.

• Entering the shipwreck interior through the hole is optional but rewards you with extra loot. It is worth doing if you are exploring the area anyway.

• All three items appear as glowing interactable objects, so they are easy to identify against the sand and wood.
